Alora is designed to help you make confident travel decisions without requiring an account or unnecessary personal information.

Information Alora Processes
Alora processes information you provide when requesting a restaurant or hotel recommendation. This may include a destination, budget, travel preferences, dining preferences, transportation preferences, trip type, hotel style and other choices you make in the app.
If you choose to use your current location, Alora may process your device's location coordinates to identify the area and provide relevant recommendations. You can instead search for a destination manually.
No User Accounts
Alora does not require you to create an account. We do not ask you to provide a name, password or profile in order to use the app.
How Information Is Used
Information submitted through Alora is used to understand your request, research relevant restaurants or hotels, evaluate available evidence and generate recommendations. It may also be used to operate, protect and improve the reliability and performance of the service.
Analytics
Alora uses limited analytics to understand how the app is used and improve its performance. Analytics may include events such as screens viewed, whether a restaurant or hotel search was performed, selected preference categories, search duration, result counts and outbound link interactions.
Alora is configured to disable analytics GeoIP collection and session replay. Before analytics properties are sent, Alora filters fields associated with destinations, locations, latitude and longitude, addresses, names, search queries, restaurant or hotel names and place identifiers.
Service Providers
Alora relies on third-party service providers to operate its recommendation system. These may include Google services for place and location information, Tavily for web research, Google Gemini for analysis of research evidence, Supabase for backend infrastructure and caching, and PostHog for limited product analytics.
Information necessary to perform a search or provide a recommendation may be transmitted to these providers when their services are used. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
Storage and Retention
Alora may temporarily cache research and recommendation-related information to improve performance, reduce unnecessary repeated requests and operate the service efficiently. For example, hotel research records stored in Alora's current research cache are configured to expire after 30 days.
Operational information may also be retained when reasonably necessary to maintain, secure and improve the service or comply with legal obligations.
Advertising and Tracking
Alora does not use your travel searches to serve personalized advertising and does not use third-party advertising trackers to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
External Links
Alora may provide links to third-party services, such as maps, hotel booking or travel websites. Once you leave Alora, your use of those services is governed by the privacy policies and terms of the third party you visit.
Children's Privacy
Alora is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Alora evolves. When we make material changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
